This album would only appeal to people with a taste in real music, nowadays kids who play Halo 3, Listen to Screamo bands and find out music through Guitar Hero don't understand the true beauty in what reality's distortion of music is, Ministry explains that for you.
  • And the band awakenens!

The 1st 2 were synthpop, but they somehow made a big change and went into industrial metal territory. Awesome, now if only Modern english could go deathcore. Now that would be something.

well first listen to this cd made me think nah, but then i read the lyrics and noticed how pissed he was, and the more i listened, the more i got into it. Sure its not the death metal sound i love like cannibal corpse, but hey, i like lots of angry pissed music... buy it if your willing to put up with a bit of "oldies".... their newer stuff gets a lil better tho in my opinion.

Even Ministry themselves could not top this album. This is more nightmarish and creepy than the current "I'm mad at Bush" Ministry. I can listen to this album over and over and over again. It still holds up 20 years later. If you like industrial, you need to own this album.
  • This is Ministry

This is the Ministry I knew and loved. The Missing, Deity, You Know Who you are, Flashback. Sweet distortive goodness.
  • This is the one

Brilliant. This work was originally released in 1988 (still not sure why iTunes lists it as 2005) and it still picks you up and pushes you around with the youthful abandon of a punk rocker in a mindless rage. It's a quintessential own for anyone who loves industrial, Chicago 80s, or cyberpunk. It practically grandfather's any other similar music from the genre. Why don't you own this album yet?
  • That album that turned me on to industrial.

...and still the best. The agressiveness, effects, feel of this record..everything about this record kills. Yeah I can see if you were an early fan this record might not be for you, but for anyone that professes to like "industrial" this is the record that started to define the sound.
