this one is for the public record. the anger at this administration needs to be documented as much as possible. future generations need to know we were not OK with BushCo and their faux patriotic-war profiteering ways. the massive damage and death that has occurred since the stolen election of 2000 has many Americans feeling powerless and wondering WTF!!? feel the passion, and remember that while CNN covers nicole ritchie driving drunk 24/7, you can know at least someone gave a damn enough to speak truth to power.
  • politics and religion is the back bone of industrial music

If you don't understand that you're either emo, under 20 and just discovered industrial music, or a republican. Ever hear of the 80s? Lots of great music pointed at Tipper Gore, Regan, and so forth. Don't like the fact it's political, go listen to Britney or similar thoughtless pop. This album is pretty good, but honestly not as great as their old stuff. Glad to see they are expanding and including new musicians however. Gives a fresh feel to the sound. Burn emos.
  • Absolutely fantastic album

This album is aggressive in its delivery of the music and message. It is a wake-up to those who can't understand the wickedness of this current government! The negative reviews for this album illustrate the blind following of the ignorant conservative masses who refuse to acknowledge how horribly ineffective Dubya, Darth, the former Repukelican Congress have been. I wonder how many of these same reviewers would challenge Lee Greenwood or any other artist who sings in blissful ignorance and support for the reichwing?

these were amazing songs from an amazing record, they dont deserve to be butchered like this. i was never into the old ministry so im not gonna complain about how his music has changed, im just not a fan of these dub mixes or any of his work outside of minitsry.

I simply cannot fathom why people are asking Ministry to stay out of politics. The subject matter of their music has always drifted in and out of social issues, and their music would suffer if they decided to just release pop love songs, or other meaningless dribble. This is a great remix album, but I'd love to see some entirely new tunes released by Al and the band. Some of the songs on this release do have a little more enjoyable edge than the originals, however. You should add this to your collection...

A few notches better than Mole, this album is the real return to form that they promised a few albums ago.
  • Stay Out of Politics? Ministry?

If you don't like political Ministry then by definition you must not like So What, Breathe, Deity, Land of Rape and Honey, NWO, Thieves, and the Live Version of Stigmata, In fact, if you don't like Ministry being political, you don't like Ministry. As per this album, get some beer, and just loop Rio Grande Dub(ya) Remix all night. The other tracks on this album are even better than the original album.

First, love Ministry always have. Great hard/industrial cd. Re-mixed, somewhat even better. This will not attract any new fans. I saw Alien & RevCo at the Chicago House of Blues. Probably one of the best shows ever. This Al hates Bush thing is, by his own admission, little more than his "schtik", ie a thematic device which panders to the kids of the weak/Cobain generation(ie-its all someone else's fault). Great music, probably the most evil / hard sounding stuff ever. As far as substance, whatever.

after reading the hateful rhetoric reviews put out by the conservative activists I decided to buy the whole album. Its a great album and as someone who started listening to ministry when Twitch came out I am glad to say this is an album most ministry fans will love. Well except for the purple heart band aid wearing pro treason republicans. I wonder if ministry has been cage listed yet?
