The 90’s were an awesome time for music. Nirvana, Lollapalooza, the rise of hip hop ect. This is one of the albums I’ve been guilty of overlooking but, it is an awesome album. The title track shares a resemblance to the Melvins Night Goat and History of Bad Men. Lava’s riff is reminiscent of Psalm 69’s Scare Crow. There’s an avant-garde cover of Bob Dylan’s Lay Lady and Brick Windows is as heavy as everything else on Filth Pig. As far as Ministry goes this is a heavy album. Get it.

This album is under rated, I listen to this more then the rest of ministry albums something about this one is special I don't know what it is but it's freaking awesome, love going to work listening to this to get you pumped up, ministry fans this is a must have.

Great underrated record. Even sexy in its slow down approach. Not some fast grinding guitars like the usual ministry. Al and ministry need to be in the rock n roll hall of fame. The guy really is the god father of industrial metal.

Dark, heavy, and masterful. Filth Pig captured the creative approach to Ministry and how coming out with another, "industrial" album was all too obvious and simple. Although not positively reviewed by many Filth pig is by far their best album. The Game show is the best track. Finally it's out on iTunes.

I've been waiting for God knows how long for this to come on iTunes.... I feel bad that it's Al's least favorite Ministry album but I for one LOVE being dragged through the muck that is Filth Pig. It's all angst and self loathing hatred and I enjoy every minute. This takes me back to a different time....
