  • Awesome show

Every year I look forward to the Deer Creek/Noblesville shows and this was definitely not an exception. When I was there, it seemed weak compared to the previous night but after listening to it again and again I've realized how brilliant it is. If you're new to Phish this is definitely a show that offers a glimpse of every aspect of their genre. The psychedelia of Light and 46 Days, the bluegrass of My Sweet One and the hard rock of Maze and Possum. Every song on here is great in their own respect and this is definitely one of my top shows.

Great first set followed by a decent second set. The vibe is there all night long and I find myself liking first sets a whole lot more these days. They really tell the story of a show more accurately than a second set can. When they're on in the first, the second will always be great. The first set always sets the tone. This is a long first set with lots of ups and downs. Everything is well played and flows nicely. There does however seem to be a little feedback buzz all show long (which is a little annoying). Highlights include a well played chalkdust--geulah, stash, wotc, and curtis loew. The second set is a little all over the place but the meatstick--mango and contact---slave encore are great. Keep em comin'.

To the person who made the comment about WOTC being played for the first time since 1996 at this show....your a moron! WOTC was even written or performed until 2003-2004...the song didnt exsist in 1996! If your a Phishnoob that's fine, but dont post comments as stupid as this and expect not to get hammered for it!
