    DWD>WTU? Pure awesomeness.
  • Simply breathtaking

I have been to about 40 shows dating back to 1998 and to say this would be near the top is a gross understatement. There really is no "filler" here. Everything played on this night is in the category of best played versions since there return in 2009. I saw my second fyf and was shocked both times I saw that...the other being at Charlotte. Dwd-wtu still brings tears to my eyes when I hear it. Even if you are only a mild phish fan, buy this show. There is no way you'll be disappointed!

Alpine 2010 was two of the best Phish shows I've seen, and I've been going since '95. Their tightness since Hiatus 2 is amazing. Miss the craziness of '95-'97 phish, but what the hell. Bands evolve. Kinda bummed that they didn't release night two. I preferred that show slightly over night one, but that is just me. To people who write reviews saying "I don't get Phish" - I feel bad for you. And any armchair psychologist can tell you that if you take the time to write a review saying that you don't like Phish, that is precisely why you don't like them. May I suggest going to your nearest library and checking out the Helping Phriendly Book? Read It!
  • Amazing

So my best friend texts me and says, hey you interested in a phish concert at alpine? I say sure but I've never listened to phish. Neither had he. So we blindly go to this concert (my first concert ever) and I literally had the best time in my whole life I can't believe I hadn't listened to these guys before. They are my favorite band now. Unfortunately my fav song "taste" isn't included, but I recommend "down with disease" and "what's the use" hands down. Amazing!
  • Great selection from the 2010 Summer Tour

This is a great choice from Phish as far as showcasing a show from their 2010 Summer Tour. The Alpine Valley setlists were sick and there are plenty of enjoyable moments to be heard from each night. I highly recommend the 'Down with Disease' and 'What's the Use?'. Enjoy this fans of great live music, jambands, prog rock, originality, fun times, glowsticks, adventures, purple pants, the Dead, the Stones, the Little Feat, the Talking Heads, cactus', lizards and of course rocking the eff out!

Phish rock hard love there music
  • I dont get it

    By Theonlyonewithsense2010
I dont get it. Phish is not fun at all. What do people see in them? I have tried and tried, but, really. Its all the same. There is no new sound. Nothing inspiring... Its just a resuce net for a throwback of the 60's... Pretty lame for such a bunch of talented guys. Bring the movement onward and upward instaed of backward!!! REALLY!
  • Buy It!!!

This was actually a two night run at Alpine and this cd is the 1st night's show, 8/14. Alpine Phish shows are always a good time for all and this album captures that. If you have never been to see Phish at Alpine this is the next best thing.
  • Taste Less

Taste is omitted from the CD release.
  • Why it costs more here

Take a minute to listen to clips from both iTunes and LivePhish. It will be clear immediately that this version is far superior in sound quality. The LivePhish releases are quickly mixed immediately following the show; this one has been remastered. If sound quality means anything to you - and if you're a fan of this band, it should - then this is the one to own for this great show. (Unless you're an AUDophile, but in that case you aren't even looking at this release, are you?)
