I thought this was going to be their downfall album. It's actually preety good! If you want better, check into Billy Breathes.

This is an incredible album. Really sounds like Phish in the earlier years - really tight and clean. This is such a great grouping of songs that really celebrates their return. Welcome back.
  • Oh how the mighty have fallen

Disappointing, but sort of expected when considering their more recent output. A sad parody of sorts, not at all what I so fondly recall.
  • Not what I was expecting at all

I have like Phish for quite some time now, since highschool and that been 20+ years. and I have to admit, this album I think has one song on it I enjoyed. Light. Thats it. The rest sounded like all the Phish, knock off bands, like Moe and WIdespread panic and perpetual groove and crap. Just lame, commercial sounding pop rock. Nothing going anywhere and I seriously question why they even wasted the time going into the studio. I mean, they have the cash flow and security now, so why not go in and keep being artist and produce more art, like they have over the years. I will be the first to admit, not all the albums they have created have been solid from start to finish, I loved seeing this band live, but there is a reason you only heard certain songs played. They have it in them to produce just flat out boring tracks. I think they should retool, go get some new inspiration, maybe hang out with the guys from MMW, or Zorn, or go dig into some more bluegrass or hell even some old punk rock, and just see what they can create, that doesnt sound like this heap of crap. I used to enjoy getting high listening to band because it took a great set of songs and made the experience even more powerful. Now I think I would have to be wasted just to sit through this whole album

Ok so I've been a phish head for over ten years, at first I was sad when I heard this albumn. I thought I was in a grocery store listening to some weirdo music that is played on elevators, in convenient stores or one of those free cd's you can get for ansewering a survey. Anyways, I forced myself to listen all the way through multiple times. I have now come to the conclusion while its no lawn boy or ghost, its a pretty good albumn. I would put it on the level of Farmhouse, catchy tunes with some decent jams. I will always love the boys and at least its not a round room albumn in which I never told anybody about. I just pretend that cd was never produced. I do think the boys are headed down the right path.
  • Great band, great album, no question

I have never been a huge Phish fan. At the Furthur shows NYE, I had a lot of friends playing the Festival 8 shows, as well as this studio album. I really dug the jams, so I bought this Album. I am not dissapointed at all. I am pleased to say that When Phish comes remotely close to California, I'll be at most of the shows. Catch y'all around the campfire!
