  • Haters back off! Quintessential!!

In 1976, i brought this album home from "Peaches Records and Tapes" much to my mother's horror, and by Tapes they meant 8-Tracks. (Wow i'm ancient). I used to listen to this album over and over and over again. I think the standout cut on this album for me is the medley of I Love The Dead / Go To Hell / Wish You Were Here. Alice has always been able to pull off creepy, but this cut really encapsulates creepy in ways only HE could do! And yeah there's no video or images but ya know what, this was done in the day when kids played outside with sticks and used their imaginations! Get this album! His best live performance recording EVER!!
  • Alice Himself Hates This Album

I've had this one for a long time in my CD collection. Recently, I read that Alice was forced by his record lable at the time to do this album. He was worn out after his tour, and to his credit, he still pulled it off beautifly. I love Alice, and he is AMAZING live!
  • Best Alice Ever !

Alice brings these song to life, with his unique mix of art and music. 1st concert I ever saw Alice Cooper, Triumph and Billy Squier at the cleveland colosium. Maybe 1981'ish. I still have this record on Vinyl ! He absolutley did his greates work live. Buy now, buy it at some old record store, get from a friend, or buy it here now.

One of his best, with great colaborations by Vincent Price on Black Widow.

Dont really need to buy this to critique, already own the CD.....BUT to anyone reading this that know music, not smarmy pop tripe, but the nuts and bolts thereof, will dig the hell outa this album. His guitar tandem of Dick Wagner & Steve Hunter are genious on guitar. I would venture to say, THE most underrated tandem EVER. So if you wanna smoking guitar, get this now. AND get Welcome to My Nitemare, and any of his other albums with Wagner & Hunter. Any musical whizzes out there will also know they used to be Lou Reeds guitarists, as well as Peter Gabriels. You can go wrong....Class Dismissed

Unless you feel the need to own every single Alice Cooper album. Without the visual element of his show, he's just not a live act. I love him - he's brilliant on album - but he really doesn't cut it live.

I bought this album when it was originally released. I think it was 1976 or '77. It was my first Alice Cooper album. Cassette tapes didn't even exist then. It was the album that made me a fan of Alice Cooper. I'm glad to see that it has been re-released. I've been to several Alice Cooper Concerts since 1977, and very few performers put on a show as good as Alice Cooper. I'd like to play golf with the guy, too. I bet he's a blast to hang out with for 18 holes.
