This is probably his best metal album besides Hey Stoopid and The Last Temptation. "Poison" is a strong opening track which became one of his biggest hits. other good ones are "Spark in the dark", "House Of Fire", "Bed of nails", and my personal favorite from this album, the title track.

this is a staple album for anyone who is into hair metal. though the best song is "poison", the enthusiast will also enjoy rockin' tracks such as "spark in the dark", "bed of nails", "this maniac's in love with you", and the ballad "hell is living without you". if you listen close enough, you can even hear steven tyler and bon jovi belting out some background vocals.

this is a great 10 song album it contains- poison the glam metal piece -spark in the dark great guitar intro 2 it- house of fire strait up 80s- why trust u its got a distinkt chourus 2 it- Only my heart talkin is my 100% favorite balled in the history of the world the videos great 2 at the end of this song steven tyler comes in-bed of nails a graet song over all love the guitar solo-this maniacs in love with u great keyboards in this 1-trash a.k.a the title track has a nice begining guitar rift- Hell is livin without u is a great balled-Im your gun is a metal piece and pretty funny. Trash is considered Alice's hair metal album, with a huge budget and an array of guest stars Trash brought Alice back into the mainstream repackaged for the times. Alice since his seventies heyday has since morphed into whatever the times has going for it. Trash was a focused effort, building off the recent foray into Heavy Metal, Alice backed off the attack (The album prior Raise Your Fist And Yell is one of his heaviest albums) smoothed out all the edges and created a masterpeice of the times and of his career. The big hit Poison starts the album out and rocks from there, two power ballads, a couple party anthems and of course a nod to the old school (Kinda) with Bed Of Nails and This Maniacs in Love with You, Many metal journalists pan this album, but one reveiw got it right, The old guy got to the top one last time. The album holds up well due to great production values, (You'll find a ton of eighties albums that still sound great because of the production was so tight) Alice would continue this trend on his next album Hey Stoopid but with a little more bite. Alice solidified himself a musical force able to still get it done, and it was because he picked through the trash.

Alice truely gives a grand preformance with this album. Tracks like Poison, Spark In The Dark, House of Fire, Why Trust You, This Maniac's In Love With You and I'm Your Gun are great headbanger songs. Great guitars and vocals all around, making this one of Alice's best albums EVER!!! A must buy, don't think... just buy it... right now! Go on, stop reading and buy this album!
