From the inside is probably my favorite album. Alice had said once it’s his classiest album. It’s a great journey listening to this

I am A Super Cooper fan all the albums,so many shows I cant remember you know the story, Anyway I bought this on vinyl in '78 it literaly was on my turntable exclusivley for over 8 months,I listened to this more than any recording to date I'm sure! Buy it so you don't end up all sliced up and sealed tight in baggies like Millie's old boyfriend!

I got the original record for five bucks about three weeks ago and havent put it away since. The lyrics are magic and things that a person like Alice would never come up with. My fave track is Serious but every track is just as good. Overall awesome.

I bought this when it was girst released in the seventies and scared my little sister with the cover. Although I vould not really identify with the situations contained within the album it did not diminish my love of the songs. I think I first heard How You Gonna See Me Now and absolutely lovrf the song. Inmates (We're All Crazy) gave me the creeps as well as Billie and Millie. I wish I still had the comic that was released about the same time as the album.

Alice has been reinventing himself and his sound over and over again for decades, but this album stands out as the most transparent, personal and honest effort to date. Too, the musicality is unmatched in the Cooper catalog. A deeply introspective exploration of Alice's thoughts and of the characters he met while in a sanitarium addressing his alcoholism, this is a rock album that everyone should give a spin. Worthy of mention is that Cooper's songwriting collaborator on this album was Bernie Taupin, most famous for his long-time professional association with Elton John. Personally, this particular Alice Cooper album ranks as one of my top three favorites, in such diverse company as Killer and Raise Your Fist & Yell.

Still my all time favorite AC single. I still have the original vinyl with the beautiful full color Alice in a straight jacket sitting on the floor picture sleeve. And before you ask, no I am not selling it.
