This is a great album for journeying, meditation, or just general relaxation. Put on headphones and lay somewhere quiet and warm and allow the music to take you away. Highly recommended!

Wow, I found an album that I rated as a five. It is this one. As I listened to the songs I could feel the heart beat, life giving energgy in my hands. I spontaniously placed my right hand over my heart and placed my left hand over my right hand. While my hands were placed on my heart I said to my heart, " I love you" then I said, " thank you". I do not think I have ever thanked my heart for beating before or told my heart that I love it. I need to do this more often and add, "May I have longetivity and health that is super natural?" I was searching for an excellent drum album and this is it. I listen for flutes, guitars, chimes and bird songs when I am wanting healing music, this album beautifully offered it to me. The song, "Descent to the lowerworld" has been given a title that I do not like. When I think of my ancestors I think of them as having a life nurturing spirit that is not limited to this world.

Authentic World Fusion Music, this album is absolutely breathtaking. The amazing blends of world drums and other instruments make this album beyond special. These guys really know what they are doing in the realm of world drumming, especially with a Native-American flavor, highly recommended.

The energy that comes through when listening is absolutely amazing and I'd imagine really hard to do! Listening, you really get the way the artists intended for you to feel. It doesn't feel cheesy or fake. Great job, love it!!

Connected to Creator and creation, the sacred drum, the heart of man - has a rhythmn and this drumming resonates with with the JOY that resides within my soul. From the quiet pond - a deep beauty envelopes me as I listen and respond with the movement of appreciation - dance. Obedience to the enchanting call of God produces joy in my life. Alan Redpath states "When there's disobedience in a person's life, the fullness ceases. And you soon know when you've lost the fullness because the joy is gone." If you find that you are resisting obedience to God in some area of your life, ask yourself, "Is it worth it?" JUST DANCE - sway to the drum beat of your heart - LISTEN for the still small voice - and be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Happily I listen to these drums - as I dance - as I respond - I embrace the resulting joy that God provides. There is nothing to lose and everything to gain, for a joyful heart stems from an obedience to the rhymthm that moves me.

Definitively the BEST Native/World album ever recorded. This is the ultimate classic of the genre. David & Steve Gordon have reached deep into the Native American ethos and crafted a trully unique worldbeat album that touches the soul and transports the listener to the very depths of themselves and connecting them with the Spirit of Earth. Bravo !
