Okay almost all her songs are fantastic except for the Same ol' Story! She was singing "Well It's The Same Ol' F**king story!!!!" I like "Well It's the Same Ol' Same Ol' Story" it's sound so much better!!!!! Two stars for best song and cussing!!!!! sorry Cyndi!!!!!!! i!

This is one of my favorite albums ever, and several of its tracks are, in my opinion, some of the best dance recordings ever. I am in LOVE with "Echo": I think that it is, no doubt, the best song on the entire album!! I can't explain it with words: it's just amazing!! I think that "Rain on Me" is the second best track, "Grab a Hold" is the third best track (it sounds like a more traditional Cyndi Lauper song), and "Into the Nightlife" is probably the fourth best. However, there are some songs here that I really don't care for ("High and Mighty," "Rocking Chair," and "Lyfe"), but, as a whole, this album is just rockin'!

Five months out and I 'm still dancing to it. Surprisingly strong for a dance album. Each cut is unique, with a particular groove. This album would make a killer non-stop dance remix. Echo. Rain on Me. High and Mighty particularly recommended.

Cindy did it again a album to remember! I play all her songs especially Ech and high and mighty fron this cd I also play grab a hold over and over. I just love her music.

It's simply brilliant. This album is the greatest of 2008 thus far & the best thing we've heard from Cyn since the full Shine album (only released in Japan). The Deluxe Edition bonus tracks are nice & Can't Breathe is on par with Time After Time, Hat Full of Stars, Unhook the Stars & Waters Edge. Other highlights include (but are not limited to) Into the Nightlife, Rocking Chair (OH, SNAP!), Echo & Set Your Heart.

This entire album is a "must have" for the club music collector. Awesome beats and vocals. What an outstanding collaboration of talent and experience. My Favorite song is "Echo" .. Listen to the sample and see why. Least Favoite is "Lyfe" -- just not into Cyndi trying to rap. However, it does not take away from the rest of the albums Dance Floor/Mirrorball sounds. Great COMEBACK .. even better than Madonna's new album "Hard Candy".

There are some things that age as well as fine wine. And Ms. Lauper is one of them. If you want to be teleported back to your favorite disco club in the late seventies and smile as you bask in the memories of your youth, check this out. The girl's still having fun after all these years and hits one out of the park. Bravo...well done.
