Steve Lukather assumes all the lead vocals on this one. More guitar driven and harder edged, I think it’s really good. I think the absence of Bobby Kimball always hindered this band, on the albums he wasn’t with the band. Joseph Williams is exceptional, but he is not on this album either. Jeff Porcaro died of a heart attack just before this was released...so sad, as this was his last with Toto. With that said, this album has great value on that merit alone. Overall a very good record, but I miss Steve Porcaro on synthesizer and no lead vocals by David Paich.
