Every song is a gift of sweetness. I saw her perform in Seattle at the start of her career. She hates flying so I don't expect her back. That said, it was an exquisite and unforgettable experience. Love Ghost, love Kate.

Kate never ceases to amaze me. There are times that I will listen to one of her songs 10 times over. With all the crap on the air waves that some call music, what an absolute joy it is to hear her angelic voice, so unique, so sweet, yet so powerful. I truely hope that she decides to tour the United States soon, I will cut off my (or perhaps my neighbors) right arm to see and hear her in person.

What bliss to listen to Kate Rusby's new album Ghost. Every song has her signature lovely, sweet and true voice and the acoustic instrumentation and simple, yet singable and memorable arrangements I've come to love about Kate and her music. Some of my favorites were The Outlandish Knight, with its Celtic feel, The Youthful Boy, After This, and the title track, Ghost. I enjoyed hearing her harmonize and sing background vocals over her main vocal. Such beautiful, emotive songs that I am happy to be able to listen to again and again. I feel have much gratitude for Kate Rusby and her original, brilliant music. Long may she sing, play, write, and record!
