Soul Moving

I'm always searching for moving and inspiring new age music. I'm not into the meditative style, or, sounds lacking emotional depth. They have to be melodic and at the same time, emotionally charged. "Flowers in October" is such an album. It has soft, floating melodies that, for me, recreate a feel of the melancholy and reflective side of our nature and the spirit of Autumn. The music simply gets better with each listening, just as a bottle of wine gets better with age. So, kick back, and listen to the soft, heart moving sounds of Tim Janis as you watch the first snowfall, or falling leaves from your cozy chair by the fire on some Autumn evening.

My family & I had the rare opportunity to see this really wonderful musician giving a performance at our local high school in Middletown, NY. All I can say is our child is autistic & usually has a hard time listening to music in general, but, Mr. Janis' Christmas performance won him over big time! Mr. Janis spoke volumes to our child and us through his music. He is a real down to earth personality & we wish him the best! Mr. & Mrs. Zellmer

I first bought this cd when it came out back in 99. Over the years it became victim to my EVIL car and cd scratching ways. It goes without saying I was very sad when I thought I lost this cd forever. I'm very glad that iTunes has Tim Janis and his wonderful music for all to hear. They are uplifting yet mellow enough to relax after a long day of work.

It's refreshing to hear such full and up-lifting music as Tim Janis. It beautifly blends Irish sounds with symphonic melodies and simple piano solos. It serves as the perfect backdrop to any evening, spent alone or otherwise. I HIGHLY recommend this album.
