The band with this line up was awesome. D. St. Holmes as the lead singer was the best. Yes Ted is / was a fantastic player and definitely a alpha male to the max which affected the outcome of this great line up. At least this exists. Just repurchased it for $2.00 on vinyl at a Goodwill store (oops did I just say that) yes I did.

I don’t agree with his political views either but you have to admit that the musicianship on this album is good if not great!

We were making cars, making money and working shifts. We went to bars and saw Ted Nugent, Bob Seger, Mitch Ryder, Alice Cooper, The Romantics... and then we went to the east side bars and Smokey, Aretha, Spinners... sometimes on the same night. I was lucky to be a part of it. This album has some of the best Detroit guitar tone ever. A Gibson Byrdland in to a cranked Fender amp - that's how we did it in Detroit. It's a classic. If this album doesn't get ya, you're already dead.

That's what happens when you search for "Boy George" and wind up with Am"Boy" Dukes.

I remember walking into Korvettes when I was 13 to buy this album. One listen and I was blown away. At 51, this is still an album I treasure! In my humble opinion, this is the one Ted Nugent record you must own.
