Maybe not his best... but friggin' wonderful all the same. Once I heard "Jailbait", this album has made the list of my top ranked albums ever. Great Gonzoz!
The last album he did that was a set piece

...and the only recording without Derek St. Holmes that shows any merit. Ted's antics usually put him in the category of caricature, and DSH always gave him just the necessary touch of rock artistry to make him legit. Somehow he managed to pull it together here. Songwriting was never a strong suit of Nugent's, but the songs here seem to succeed in spite of this. Even at its silliest (I Am a Predator), it's Ted Nugent simply having fun while he was still relevant.
The Nuge's Best Ever!!!

When this album came out in 1981 rock-n-rollers had stopped caring about Ted Nugent records. It's to bad, because song for song, this is his best album. A live recording of all new material Nugent’s guitar playing never has sounded better. If Intensities in Ten Cites had been released during his Cat Scratch Fever heyday (1976-1979) it would have gotten the attention it deserves. If you like Ted Nugent and aren’t familiar with this album, you’ll want to check it out.
