    Listened to this album from start to finish again for the first time in 10 years. Don't know many artists who combine the power and beauty of these lyrics with this high a level of musicianship. It's certainly a period piece but this period keeps seeming to repeat itself.

    He wasn't doing too good in US Chart but yes in his Country. I don't know about Bruce Cockburn till last year.in This Album It sounds a little too 80's, but it's a great set of songs, with some of the best political songs I've ever heard. He's a great guitarist, and one of my favorite singer/songwriters.
