No album in the history of R nā€™ R touches the combo of depth and energy that this album provides. Pure genius.

"Unsatisfied" is one of the most evocative and emotionally charged rock songs ever produced. There's a very good reason why this piece of art is on Rolling Stones Magazine's list of best rock albums of all time. Let It Be is a masterpiece.

This album is the best classic rock album of the eighties. It was probably one of the last. It's pitch perfect. Has perfect vocals. Listen to it about 50 times through. Simply amazing.

Filled with hooks, heartache, riffs and beautifully heartbreaking and clever lyrics that all add up to one of the absolute greatest rock and roll albums ever. You only love it more and more as time goes on with each and every listen. Do your soul a favor and buy this right now. You'd thank me if you could

The Replacements are one of those bands that are criminally underrated. It's hard to understand why, because the power, intelligence and greatness of the band is pretty obvious. This album shows all these qualities. The album kicks off with "I will Dare", a jangly pop rock song that has a bit of an edge due to Westerberg's ragged voice. By the time track three "We're Comin' out" kicks in, the Mats are in great punk form, but towards the end the song breaks down and mellows out. Westerberg has a great knack for writing angst filled lyrics without being overindulgent or contrived. He captures all the anger, frustration and fun of being young. The last track "Answering Machine", is easily the masterpiece on this album, Westerberg's voice cracks, and strains as he curses his girl's answering machine. The raw power and emotional sounds like a man who has been pushed to the brink. This is what great rock n roll should be, rough, loud and intelligent. Check out The Replacements and discover one of the best bands of the 80's. Chances are these guys influenced one of your favorite bands.
