The overall soundscape is similar to Native Invader. But there's no question that this EP is an altogether different animal from "Midwinter Graces" thanks to the presence of Matt and Jon, Tori's longtime bandmates, who recorded from separate locations and collaborated transcontinentally to make a lovely little EP. The first three tracks are slow-to-midtempo ballads. But if you're looking for a more upbeat, powerful rock piece, the final track "Better Angels" is what you're looking for!

You wouldn’t really know this track came from a Holiday EP. Better Angleshas that classic Tori sound circa 1998. Love that Tori worked with Matt Chamberlain and Jon Evans again on this EP. There is that warm familiarity from a time which I consider to be Tori at here best.
