The song is a good satire of the average ultra-conservative's view of the pro-choice argument. It's a catchy tune with good lyrics and the video couldn't have been better at re-enforcing the satire, which one has to assume was their goal.
If you enjoy satire and sarcasm, it's very entertaining. If you're too busy trying to get the knot out of your knickers to laugh at humor, you likely won't enjoy it.

Okay, people, it's not that hard: don't watch it if you're a conservative, a fundamentalist ANYTHING, a pro-life Christian, a Palin supporter, or someone who has no sense of humor. It's Amanda Palmer, guys. Not a perfect, censored, cookie-cutter Christian pop singer. Amanda Palmer.
If you DO have a sense of humor or an obsessive love for Amanda Palmer, buy it! It's fabulous. A pop song about abortion...how much better does it get? Honestly, I laughed out loud the first time I heard this song. And all the people around me looked at me funky and took a couple steps back...ah, well...

First, if you see negative comments about the video, you have to understand that they probably shouldn't have watched it in the first place because they are not going to get it. LOL Second, this video has energy, life, social commentary and all the good stuff rarely seen nowadays. Everyone's expressions are perfect for their characters. Each scene is so carefully crafted and perfect. The subject matter makes you think, but in a way that's pretty light-hearted, which is somewhat unusual for one of Amanda Palmer's songs. Each time I watch it, and I've watched it alot, I spot some new gem that I hadn't seen before. If you only think the video is "weird", you need to open your mind up and delve a little bit deeper.
