Jars of Clay is now a Christian (and even secular) music legend of a band. This is a great album. Love all the songs. Some of my favorites are: Pennsylvania, Inland, Reckless Forgiver, and Fall Asleep. Buy the whole album though. It's really worth it. Dan Hasletine is a great singer.

After days of hunting for a Christian/alternative rock band, I stumbled upon a band that has been in front of me for longer than I have been around. I heard the first song "after the fight" and I literally cried and pressed the "buy album" button. It is INCREDIBLY difficult to find deep lyrics, and this type of sound. In fact I don't think I have been able to find anything like this. Already I have listened to this album countless times and still is my favorite. I only hope these guys keep making albums just like this one. That would be my wish. Thank you so much for breaking the "old chritian rock genre" since the beginning. PLEASE KEEP MAKING STUFF LIKE THIS

This collection by Jars of Clay is the most wonderful collection yet. The music is pure, powerful, and artfully beautiful. These songs will never get old, the lyrics are so meaningful. Furthermore, each song has a beautifully distinct rhythm that makes you want to get up and move to the beat. Jars of Clay has done it again, I have never been a die hard fan, but this CD is good enough to get me to be. To God be all the abundant blessings that will come from this collection. Well done!

This album is an instant favorite. All of the songs are topnotch, but especially check out Inland, Love in the Hard Times, and Loneliness & Alcohol. GOOD STUFF.

It has been quite some time since I have purchased any new music from Jars of Clay despite the fact that I was quite a fan of their earlier albums. I decided to purchase Inland as a result of a promotion on iTunes and what a great surprise this Album is. Inland may possibly be their best album to date. It is a strong effort from the first song to the last. A good mix of uptempo songs as well as emotional ballads. All with great songwriting and musicianship! Cant stop listening to it and one of the best Albums I have heard this year. Good to have them back and better than ever.

I am constantly on the search for good music about real life and it is so awesome that Jars of Clay stepped out for this great album. There is nothing wrong with a good praise album, but taking the Jesus pill over and over and over again gets a little nauseating. Give me more story-telling about life's passions with a beat and I will keep buying albums.

I want so bad to love this album, to continue to be an avid Jars fan like I used to be, but ever since "Good Monsters," I don't have the desire to listen to them anymore. Sure their old stuff still jams, but the direction they have taken with "The Long Fall," "The Shelter," and now "Inland," is way the opposite direction of where I wish they would have gone. But I will continue waiting for their next great record. By the way, do they still call themselves a Christian band?
