I don't know the back story to this guy but I really enjoy it. Some of it reminds me of a digital U2 album without all the vocals, which I think is actually an improvement. No offense to the U2 fans. I like them just as much as the next guy, but I'm really digging this guy's style.

So I am a huge Ryan farish fan and have been since his debut album. His last album, movements in light was simply amazing. Especially since it was so different from all of his other albums. On bloom,w he goes back to his roots found on beautiful and from the sky. Overall the album is very good, and seems longer than his other albums. The only thing I do not like on this album is the siren. It seems that in many of these songs there is a blaring siren in the background. When you are listening to the album in your earphones it is very apparent and annoying. It is very high pitch and long. It sounds out the other instruments that are holding the theme of the music. I wish that was not through out the album. Also a lot of the tracks sound the exact same, and after a while it sounds like one long song. Overall I still think this is a great cd for Ryan farish fans. If you see just discovering him check out from the sky, and movements in light. You will not be sorry! Like everything else ryan plants, this cd will likely bloom a new generation of Ryan farish fans. A must have for fans!

I don't really like the first 5 songs, from 'Clouds of Heaven" onwards, these songs were simply amazing. 'Magnificent' is, like the title, magnificent, and 'Freedom Song' is one of the best. Overall, this album is one of Ryan's best. Definitely recommends it.

I'd agree with saying this is Ryan Farish, another facet and each one an experience. In a really cool way - definitely carries that same positive vibe that we've come to love..love how this album helps bring me back, gets my head right, and sort of calms & energizes my soul. Get this one.. put it on and you'll see what I mean! Get it!

Ryan is the same but delivers more "Ryan" than ever. This Album is without doubt the best he has ever made. It's simply complete! Personally, I know that "Supernova" and "Magnificent" are hitting my inner musical chord hard and will be running on repeat tomorrow when I drive to work :-) Just outstanding work! Thank you Ryan.

This is the same style you'd expect from Ryan Farish, yet different. How to describe it? Very Electronic, ethereal, and in my opinon, rather U2ish (being a U2 fan, I love that). I'm a huge RF fan...always have been! On the one hand, I really like "Bloom" - on the other, I guess I was expecting something else. Some of the songs seem a little mundane to me. I don't think I'd purchase the whole album, but this is worth taking the time to listen to. I really like 'Let It Rain,' and 'Suprnova.' Perhaps I like some of his older work better - some of his stuff with more of a beat, like 'In This Moment,' ' From the Sky,' and 'Movement In Light.' Having said that, I would say this is still solid and most appropriate to the season we're heading into. I know artists are always looking for new and unique ways to express themselves and thats part of the expectation we as listeners have. But each of us do have our own specific styles we really like best. Overall, this is good. Listen for yourself is the best advice I can give.
  • Ryan Farish's best album to date!

I feel like I am able to connect to all 17 tracks in Ryan's new album. A lot of his music from my perspective pertains a lot to current events in society. On the personal side, this album destresses me and shows me the light for the future. Listening to all 17 tracks I actually now have a sense of optimism for the purpose of my life and the rest of humanity. Ryan Farish rocks!
