  • I'M JUST NOT THAT INTO IT

I've heard some Ryan Farish that I like, but it seems to be the exception to the rule anymore. There are some cool textures and grooves here and there, but for the most part I can't help feeling like I'm watching the weather channel (which I believe is how he started). Personally, when I'm in a chill mood, I'd rather listen to some of Yanni's older stuff or my new personal favorite, "Beginnings" by Josh Kramer.

So i thought by now that all of Ryan Farish's work was all the same. Piano with a beat and looming voices in the background. Yet i find myself draw to his music that seems to ease my soul!! I went into this album with mixed thoughts. From the 30 second preview , all the tracks sounded the same, but since i have bought ALL of his other albums i though i would give it a try. As i put on my ipod touch I looked at the cover of the artwork and instantly thought this album is going to be different.....and different it was!!! In a great way. This album seems to draw a little bit more on the "techno" side than his other albums. It is fantastic and brilliant. It seems to just erase all of stress and i find my self moving in the light to his beat. The only complaints i have with this album, is it seems to be shorter than his other albums. The other thing i miss is having a slow beautiful song that touches my soul, like pacific wind off of "from the sky". I have to say that Ryan Farish is becoming one of my favorite artist! This album will not disappoint, especialy if you are a Ryan Farish fan. If you are not, or found his other songs to "slow" you might be surprised of the amount of "electronics" in this album. Download and move into the light with Ryan Farish!

10 great songs are enough to make an album for Ryan Farish. Usually regular albums out there have about 16 songs and only 5 are worth listening; but not this one. Every single song is absolutly amazing, and the melodies are very enjoyble. Great album, just another simple classic in my I-POD!!!

Another intensely beautiful composition... His music is food to the mind and soul... All tracks are exceptionally incredible... Allure and Closer Away are my favorites. Every album only gets better and better...
