Do you ever wonder why classics are just that? Listen to these songs, You will know that some people are true artists, and that Sinead, for all the controversy, is one of those few. On this record, she goes so deep into the music, and takes you with her, that you come out, perhaps not better for it, but at least changed somehow, and certainly more attuned to the discords of your mind. Love is made real. Sorrow is made tactile. She begs to be heard, and understood, and she makes you part of itl
This is a record you will not forget.

This is one of those albums I always return to when I need a Sinead fix. Her voice is pure, her songs can be full of angst or honesty or both, and that voice. That VOICE!!! What a gift..
One of the best

This is soo underrated. Such a masterpiece. Wish it would have been promoted better. One of the best albums in the last 15 years. Sample: Hold back the night, Jealous, Till I whisper u something, Daddy I'm fine, The state i'm in, and the excellent- Dancing lessons. You'll wanna buy it!

Faith and Courage by Sinead O'Connor is one of the strongest albums of her career. It's too bad it came out when the public's interest in the musical direction presented here was in short supply. This could have been THE comeback album of the Pop-Rock Rebel... but sadly it was released about 3 - 4 years too late. Still, it shares the title with certain other overlooked albums as One Of The Best Albums You Never Heard. So what are you waiting for? Have Faith-Show Courage.
It really rocks

Unlike the other two reviewers here, I have actually listened to this album. Quite a few times in fact, and each time, it's still fresh and powerful. This is a beautiful, searing work of art by a great artist and singer. Music fans, you can find no better use for your 10 or so dollars than this. Sinead O'Connor, wherever you are, you always put it all out there for us, especially on this album. Thanks.
