Her vocal range and subject matter far exceeds her in years and she was way ahead of everyone else. Seeing her sing Mandinka at the MTV video music awards and seeing sidewinder members not knowing what they were witnessing was classic. Misunderstood, yes. Correct in her bashing of the Catholic Church, this is what makes her phenomenal. Just listen to Troy. That’s all I need to say.
