I really enjoy her music - it is timeless. I would have bought some of her other music but it is "no longer available to purchase in the US". I am glad they have this download which has a lot of her earlier music that I fell in love with. Yes I am a mom too and I have been listening to her way before "The City of Angels" movie made her music popular. I have seen her at college venues and she was GREAT!

I first heard of Sarah McLachlan when I heard "Posession" on the radio. I loved it's earthy and haunting sound. It reminded me of Irish artist Loreena McKennett. I ended up getting her first album for my birthday ("Surfacing"). I also a few years later got "Afterglow." I liked both albums a lot but I never really listened to her earlier songs. That's what's so great about this greatest hits collection. It includes her earlier material and not just the more recent hits like "Fallen" and "Building A Mystery." While she may be more popular with women than men I still enjoy her original sound. She does remind me a lot of Loreena McKennitt (I Hope I spelled her name right). This is a worthwhile purchase especially since it's only $7.99 on itunes! How can you go wrong with a price like that?

My sister got this album for me and no offense sis but I didn't like the album very much. I would much have rather gotten her album After Glow.
