    I’ve always loved Sufjan’s work but this is his finest offering yet. If I ever released a musical masterpiece this great I would retire. Best album I’ve heard in decades. Get it in vinyl as well.

    I was hesitant to buy this, based on the numerous negative reviews. I'm incredibly happy I ignored them. This is NOT typical Sufjan Stevens, but that doesn't mean it's bad. This reminds me of a lot of experimental music from the 60's and 70's. (Check out the Anthology of Dutch Electronic Tape Music 1963-64, you'll hear similarities.) Long story short, if you want to listen to some fantastic experimental compositions get this immediately. If you are looking for folky Sufjan, proceed with caution. My favorite track is "Pluto". Amazing!

    Another of my "go to " lables in the 80's & 90's. This seems to fit right in with those old feelings of 4AD and their projects like this. We were fortunate to have them at the Oakland Fox, one of only four stops on this tour.

    I admire Sufjan and always have. Using an auto-tuner on Sufjan's voice is just hideous. HIs voice is too pure for me to hear that and love it much. I do like this releases on the whole.....but please. NOPE on AUTOTUNAGE

    I heard about this on NPR and had to check it out. Love it. Brilliant collaborative work. Best concept album I've heard in ages. Surfjan's vocals are haunting, angelic and his lyrics are astounding. Those that are giving bad reviews on this are tragically narrow-minded. Sonic art at its finest.

    Give it time. Once you start to understand the album, you won't be able to decide which song is best. Layers upon layers of hooks. Last seconds of Earth...wow.
