This is a fantastic live recording. The mixing is spot on and in some ways the band sounds better than in the studio. Only drawback is that Fred's repetitive "this is a dance song" intro on every other track gets a little annoying after a while.

This is not a 5-star record
It’s nice to hear these guys live in their hey day, I saw them several times live around this time and while they are energetic the playing and vocals can get a little sloppy. The major bonus here is hearing Ricky Wilson once again in all his glory. He and Keith were always what made this band worthwhile.

They are true artists (that also know how to keep their private lives private - idaho). Nothing they have ever done has been ordinary, it’s been extraordinary. I am looking forward to seeing them with the Psychedelic Furs at the Hollywood Bowl this July 4th (2015). This 1979 recording sounds so pure and raw. What a great collection of timeless classics.
