Whatever genre of music.It needed a strong opening groove. And Jeff Porcaro supplied it. His signature style was the definitive answer. I especially like the intro to Moodido(the match) boxing theme. Wow!That song rocks! It all meshes together so perfectly. Because the drums are the main focal point of the song and without that key element. There is nothing.It is so easy to see why he was so highly regarded among his contemporaries and always spoke about his two mentors.And that millions of beginner and intermediate students are learning to master all the fundamental rudiments and techniques just from watching his drum instruction video.So it goes without saying anything more. How surly missed he is even now.And that his legacy will live on forever. He is still the best and my number one fav of all time.And rocking out in heaven.
