This is they have taken something that the devil meant for evil and made it something to glorify God !

I don't have an opinion about this song, but there are way too many people commenting about how far away from God RT has gone. Just go read Romans 2:1-4 and judge your own hearts, not other people. We are not given the authority to judge the spiritual state of other people's salvation, but God is. He is Lord of all our hearts, and Jesus died for us to wash away all our sin, being the only one who is and was and will be perfect. Is this criticism loving? Yes I know everyone needs to be told when maybe they don't sound so Christian, but it should be done lovingly, and NOT where the whole world can see. Also, it would be best to just bring to their attention that they don't sound Christian, not making any accusations but leaving the decision of their hearts between them and God. Lastly, remember from where you have fallen and leave the judging to God. Maybe they are wrong to sing these songs, maybe they're right. I don't know, and I for one don't want to judge.

I Love The Song, But If You Know It's Not Even Reflecting God, Than Why Do You Sing It, I Know If It's Not Reflecting God, I know it's not even good to hear.

Be in the world but not of it. Royal Tailor should not use their voices dedicated for God to release a secular song under a Christian Gospel genre. Especially a Taylor Swift song. Disappointed :(
  • Why?!?

To start off, I would just like to say that I don't think it is bad that they did this from a christian standpoint, but from all other standpoints, it was bad. I LOVE Royal Tailor, but seeing that they covered an annoying overplayed mainstream song does make me a bit upset. Why Royal Tailor? WHY?!? Honestly it doesn't even sound that good...

they made a cover of this song, that doesn't mean they're leaving christian music! you all need to chill out with the bad reviews... Royal Tailor was just having fun singing this carefree song. Tauren Wells sang this song incredibly, and I congratulate them for a great version of this song.

To tell you the truth , I used to love Royal Tailor. Yea, I still do and I listened to this song the first time it came on because I had no clue it was a cover of the Taylor Swift version , you know ? I was at the gym working out and it was very motivating , so I listened to it the rest of the time . After the first time I listened to it , I knew it was a Taylor Swift knock-off , for lack of a better term really. So, for whatever ready I watched the video on YouTube , you know scope it out . And at the end I saw a CD cover that said ROAR. So I looked it up and sure enough they did a cover of that too, it was ok I guess . I mean the only times I heard either song was at the New Years Parade on TV and a Colts football game halftime show. To be honest, I was a little disappointed in them. But then I thought , I have had other Christian bands come on the iTunes Radio doing covers on One Direction songs , and believe me , the content in those songs are very suggestive and stocked with innuendos , so truly these songs they did covers on , I looked up the lyrics and they were perfectly clean , even fun, peppy , and just like some Christmsd songs. Let's be honest here , no one complains about Marshmallow world or Jingle Bells, which have no Christian content whatsoever , so please just take these covers as a fun side job.
  • That’s better than Taylor Swift. like… ya...
