Incredible piano work. Great supporting orchrestra. My favorite piano artist, over Giovani, Yani, Janis, and Brickmen. I wish he would do an album of old folk music from Europe, such as Swedens Ashoken Farewell. Ashoken Farewell song is played by so many blue grass and country music artists.
  • This arrangement is not his!

This arrangement and track is clearly David Foster's (see his Christmas album from the 90's)!!! Joseph is simply playing over Fosters track, which, but the way, is a tremendously complicated arrangement (but well done) of Carol of the Bells!

I heard this song when it first came out and fell in love with it! I have been searching and searching for the person who did the arrangement, but to no avail. Imagine my complete shock when I dicovered that the composer was none other than my favorite pianist! William Joseph is AMAZING! I listen to his music ALL THE TIME, and never get tired of it.

This single from William Joseph is absolutely amazing! Joseph uses a traditional Christmas carol and combines it with a fantastic array of piano and orchestral elements to create a truly wonderful musical experience. There are several elements of his arrangement that make it uniqe, his change to a major key towards the end of the song and his excellent use of dynamics. As one of my all time favorite carols, I am particularly critical about the various versions of "Carol of the Bells" and have found very few to which I will listen over and over. William Joseph's single has been added to my collection with the repeat button turned on!

It's kind of intresting, this is David Foster's Carol of the Bell's from "David Foster's The Christmas Album" released in 1993, but with someone else playing piano overtop. If you listen carefully you can hear the orginal piano track played by David in the background. It was originally David Foster on piano accompanied by orchestra, now this makes it almost a piano duet accompinied by orchestra. Its still a gorgeous piece and with the extra piano it just adds a beautiful layer to the original which I believe is the best arrangement ever of Carol of the Bells.

I've seen him in concert before because he opened up for clay aiken. He was incredible! his fingers moved on the keys so fast that you couldn't even see his hands! He was amazing! I'm not a fan of classical music but I love his stuff.
