The Kills hit this track so well...beautiful song done brilliantly

I dont understand why people who dont like the kills are writing reviews about them obviously your going to one star it if you hate their style but for people who liike it they see one star and fluff it off. Dont ruin it for kills fans just because you dont enjoy their music.

I personally think this song is great! But before i get into that, i must say: SuprNatrl, wow thanks SO much for letting me know the rules of music! I seriously didn't know that an artists who did a cover was required to make it sound somewhat like the original! Isn't that the point of doing a cover? So that the artist can make it their own, and use their own style in it? Hm, i must be crazy or something because apparently i am dead wrong. Anyways, i guess this genre just doesn't appeal to certain type of people, which is fine, but don't trash the artist because it doesn't measure up to your standards. Anything The Kills do is great in my opinion, and this was another success! Buy it!

I AM familiar with The Kills style (even though I don't particularly like it) and I have to say they do NOT belong doing this cover. While the artist is meant to make the song their own, the cover is supposed to sound at least somewhat like the orginal. People who know the original are supposed to be able to tell what they're covering without having to look at the song title.

beautiful voices, beautiful song. i think some of the people who reviewed earlier clearly don't have an appreciation for this project. it's not about re-creating sinatra... obviously nobody is going to be able to do that and shouldn't try. it's about the respective bands taking these timeless songs and making them their own... re-creating them in their own distinctive styles. i think it's fairly obvious that the timing of the vocals was intentional and makes for a beautiful result. saying that they don't know how to use headphones..... is completely ridiculous, obviously.

Frank Sinatra is spinning in his grave right now because of this song. Who in the hell thought the kills were accomplished enough to cover one of the greatest singers in the history of music?

i thought this song was good it's different than the original, but you still get the message of the song not from the lyrics but just kind of the emotion in which they sing it. it actually sounds like they went through the experience and they are both wanting an ounce of pity or mercy to grasp. i also believed that some of the comments were rude and a bit pretentious

I dont think the previous reviewers are familiar with the kills and their catalog. This is their style, and their way of making the song their own. Its well done, and beautifully performed....good stuff vv + hotel

I really wasn't expecting the kills to be on here but either way I really liked the contrast of the 2 voices and what else can I say the singer of the Kills is one of my favorite female singers her voice is nice and subtle but can have power when she needs it's soothing and nice to hear but it's still no Sinatra...
