I will always see and hear Glory of Love in a different light after it was used on the amazing Netflix show Good Girls. Superb cast, story, and tons of awesome music, including this song.

Solitude/Solitaire is easily Cetera's weakest album post-Chicago, save for the #1 smash-hit, epic ballad "Glory of Love" from the Karate Kid Part II (best film in that series, FWIW), "Next Time I Fall" with Amy Grant, and the super-sweet "Daddy's Girl," which was featured prominently in the movie Three Men and a Baby. Aside from those three tunes, the rest of the album is 1980s Pop music album filler at its cheesiest, complete with excessive synthesizers imitating authentic musical instruments, which drives me nuts. For Cetera's finest solo work, look no further than these three: World Falling Down, One More Story, and Another Perfect World. You won't find a lousy/filler track on any of those. Having said that, if you want to hear Peter Cetera at his *absolute best* as both a vocalist AND one of the greatest bass players of all time, you must acquire the first 13 Chicago albums (1969–1979). That is all!
  • Jeff Porcaro works his magic again

As usual Jeff Porcaro always lays down a nice tasty beat on his drums. It helps to propel the groove of that particular song so nicely and give it that great drive and energy. It doesn't matter if the song is Rosanna or Till the End.He knows just what to utilize. So that's why so many popular artists wanted him as their session drummer.Whatever genre of music it sounded so fabulous. It goes to show what a tremendous loss to the World of music all because of the untimely demise of such a highly acclaimed and talented musician. His legacy endures forever. And will always be remembered by myriads of fans all over the World.πŸ“²πŸ˜ŠπŸ“€πŸŽΌπŸ˜πŸ’›πŸ’½πŸŽΊβ˜ΊοΈπŸ˜ˆβ€οΈπŸ’šπŸŽΈπŸ˜‡πŸˆπŸ’™πŸŽΉπŸŽ»πŸ’œπŸŽ·πŸ’ΏπŸ±πŸ“±πŸŽ§πŸ˜‚πŸ˜€πŸŽ€πŸ˜ΏπŸ―πŸ˜…. Every one song is great! This and World Falling Down are my choices for Cetera's Very Best solo albums. But, I do like this a little more if I pick among the two even they are very equal overall.

I used to have this cd (and plan on getting it again) and would listen to it with my mom in the car all the time! Our personal favorite back then was 'Glory Of Love', but now, I don't know which one I like best. Probably number 8, Solitude/Solitaire. However, I think all the songs on this album are fantastic! A must buy if you love the 80s. Enjoy! <3
