The Poison put them on the map, but this one is really what defined the band. Better lyrics, better riffs, better screaming and better guitar solos, and 12 years later they haven't even come close to matching this masterpiece. Waking the Demon is the best song on the album, followed closely by Disappear.

Bullet is my favorite back, and always will be. The Poison was a pure masterpiece, and guess what? So is this. They are both two masterpieces that take on different genres of metal music. It’s pure heaven for any metal head that loves Bullet. Just like the Poisons deluxe edition, Scream Aim Fire is a complete album from its opener in Scream Aim fire to Ashes of the innocent on the deluxe edition. Must buy.

I like BFMV's other albums but I absolutely LOVE this album. It's definitely a little different sound than any of their other albums. In my opinion it's for the better, though. This album beautifully mixes an 80's metal sound with their own BFMV sound to take you on a musical journey. This album has everything! Even a few old school rock ballads! I love it.
Waking the Demon deserves its own mention, this song absolutely destroys my system and I love it. It masterfully builds to crescendos with moments to catch your breath in between. Great drumming, solid vocals, shredding guitars. This track is worth the price of the album alone.
