This is pretty good but the iTunes version doesn't have some great tracks in it like 'The Fusion(Hawk Remix)'. Definitely markus at his best

Ibiza 06 - Without a doubt Markus' finest mix to date. This one is as good or better than Tiesto's "In Search Of Sunrise" series which is Tiesto's best to date. There are many unique memorable tracks on this double mix. Ibiza 06 is a flawless mix with every track flowing into, and complementing the other. Every track is incredible, except for one oops, which is Roland Klinkenberg's "Whats the point" which is completely out of place. With 27 perfect tracks out of 28 this one is in my all time top 10. I have the CD version which is a continuous mix. The iTunes version has the continuous mix as well as some individual tracks so it is a bonus as compared to the CD.

Markus Schulz offers a unique and invigorating journey in Ibiza '06. Definitely my favorite for long morning runs or winding convertible drives in the desert. Hope to see him live one day. He simply gives me chills.... ;)
  • Great Deal

This CD has more than 3 hours worth of music. If you are looking for a quality trance/dance CD with quantity also this is the CD for you. Itunes used to have this deal for only 6.00 which is when I bought it but it is still a killer deal in my opinion.
  • i'm new to markus, but this cd is a slam dunk.

this is one of the best trance cd's i've ever heard. the music just flows and yet it is still catchy. i can rave about it all day, but you really have to just hear it.

Recently all of the major DJs have dished out some real subpar material. My favorite from last year was AVB's STOT 2006 but I actually think that this better, and it's certainly better than AVB's STOT 2007 and Tiesto's Elements of Life; both have been huge let downs. I wasn't a fan of Schulz's Miami mix and wasn't sure about getting Ibiza '06, but this mix blows Miami away. Definitely check this out. Even if you haven't liked what you've heard from him before, this sounds almost like another DJ. Hope he can keep it up and is able to put out more mixes like this.
  • Spectacular progressive trance compilation

Mixed to perfection, "Ibiza '06" is a fine return to form by Markus Schulz, one of the most underrated DJ's out there. Definitely an album you won't get tired of.
  • This is Markus at his best, but don't buy it here

It is over six months later and I still cannot stop listening to this album. Markus Schulz is such an incredible dj who has a knack for finding the most creative songs out there. By far one of the top mixes I have heard in a long time. But please, do not do yourself the injustice of buying it on iTunes. This is just another example of where iTunes is flawed and also does not give enough respect to trance. Why settle for 17 songs when there are 28 on the album, and trust me, when you hear "The Air Between" by The Breakfast, you will thank me.
  • every track is so smooth and well put together was worth the search !!
