Toad fans can skip this one. It's just a record label's attempt to profit on all the previous records. Plus, some of their best songs aren't even included.

I purchased this album at the local used games, movies and music store and I listened to it and I thought that it was alright but there is alot of better tunes missing especially off of "Dulcinea" like "Stupid" and "Fly from Heaven." It is nice how they threw in 7 unreleased tunes and alternate versions of a songs but in my opinion there is like a hole in the overall sound (forgotten tunes). If you are a true Toad the Wet Sprocket fan, I would purchase this album but if you are more of a partial fan like me, I would either purchase "Dulcinea" and or "Playlist: The Very Best of Toad the Wet Sprocket" for I think that those albums have a great overall sound.

Gotta say, Toad is in my top five all time favorite bands, along with Gin Blossoms, Fleetwood Mac, Matchbox 20, and 3 Doors Down. If I listened to only those 5 bands, I'd still have music for most all the moments of my life. In this collection, Toad is well represented. The only thing I'm not so sure about is the remixes and new versions. Wish they'd tell us what they changed, so I'm not sitting there trying to pick it out.:) With 16 songs for $10, the album is a bargain, and gives diehard fans a new collection while providing newcomers to the band a one-stop crash course in all things good and Toad!

This is such an amazing collection of Toad music. Has all my favorites, and also has "Silo Lullabye", which is perhaps the prettiest song ever written about nuclear war.:-)
