This project is the first ETF album I’ve overall enjoyed in years. Whenever I see they put out a new album I always make sure to check it out just because how big of a fan I was back in the mid/late 2000’s. I feel if they keep up with the evolution that peeks through on this album they will be able to drop a full album of heat. I’m still hopeful to see what these guys have to give fans old and new.

I’ve lost my fandom with this band over the years…….and this album just makes me care even less for them. They are just trying to sound like Falling In Reverse’s first album at this point.

If you enjoyed the last 2 ETF albums, you might think Out of the Shadows is Amazing. John Feldmann(Producer) is a master of castration. A much better choice would have been Terry Date, Suecof, or Benson. ETF continues to veer into Cheesy 80s lyrics. Mabbitt still sounds great. Guitarist, Matti Hoffman is also special. Ortiz is also a fantastic drummer. But Out of The Shadows sounds like a band desperate for a single and a larger audience. I was hoping the band might bring more edge, creativity and fire to Out of the Shadows. I would not be surprised if this is their last release.
