Garbage a total let down...
Forced, uninspired, not genuine..
The album feels like they’re trying to follow the same direction as Falling In Reverse, but falls extremely short. 1 “heavy” song and a bunch of mediocre uninspired and dull tracks. No standout tracks. After the last 2 disappointing albums I was holding out hope but that’s officially dead, like this band. It’s a shame they alienated their heavy-side fan base to try and reinvent themselves. What was once a good band in the scene seems like it’s just taking a long time to die. Half a star if I could. And that’s just for the album artwork.
Now that the whole album is out
I’m genuinely impressed. Imo this is the best album they’ve put out since Ungrateful. Now that doesn’t mean it’s their heaviest BUT heavy does not equal good. Besides Unbreakable, the experimentation goes right when they do it. There are some parts that are a little forgettable of course but overall it’s way better than I expected and it definitely deserves a listen. I really hope this isn’t their last album because this album showed they still have some fire in them.
Standouts: Lightning Strike, Not My Problem, Burn the Bridges, Hand Grenade, Demons
Forgettable: My Gravity, Walk On, Invincible
No bueno: Unbreakable
The Guillotines to Garbage
By King of Nightmares
Everything ETF comes out with now is just a depressing ballad. What happened to the savage songs like prepare your weapon and Guillotine parts 1 & 2, behind the mask, etc. It’s gonna be a no for me dawg.
Only song I like and it’s ok is not my problem

Just discovered this band and love em.
Just can’t wait for the release of this new album. ETF are legends.
Where is Let Me Be? I was hoping we’d get it for a 3rd time
