I wasn’t crazy about the original record. Terry date made this record a true gem and a must have. the new remixes are straight fire. Rip dime.

The album is almost a completely different experience now. I highly recommend the new remixes. If only iTunes would put the older Pantera albums online as well...

It’s such a different listening experience now, that’s if you listen in an instrumental aspect. Classic PanterA sound.

As far as I’m concerned, Terry Date is the 5th member of Pantera. Sterling is a cool dude and he did a great job but the original mix sounded like a different Pantera. Not bad, just different. Terry Date is the reason that Vulgar Display Of Power changed metal music forever. Everybody wanted Dimebag’s tone and if it wasn’t for Terry Dates mix his tone would have been buried.
  • THE WAY IT SHOULD OF BEEN.

I went through all three versions the TD version is far more powerful not much of a difference with the remaster and original I think the original comes out louder other than that nothing but the TD sounds huge on all track’s
  • The way it should have sounded!

The new mixes give this awesome album the sonic energy it was missing. A Pantera album without Terry Date’s production just sounds wrong! Glad this was fixed!!!!

First off, MUCH Better album cover. Second, the TD mix sounds better than the original. Third, Thank You For adding the best track that should’ve been on the album Avoid The Light. This has been a hell of a year for new releases Poppy, Mr. Bungle, Gorillaz, Static X, Code Orange, The Avalanches, Killer Be Killed, Eat The Day, and now Pantera. This album actually needed to be remastered in the first place also cause the original mix sounds like crap.
