I was so excited to learn that Barry Gibb released another album and was elated to discover that his performance and artistry are still stellar after all these years. I grew up listening to the Bee Gees and even spent New Year's Eve attending one of their final concerts in Fort Lauderale. Whenever I need to renew my spirit, I listen to the Bee Gees. I will always love their music.

I have been a Bee Gees fan since I first heard Jive Talkin' in the mid seventies when I was just beginning my teen years. I was hooked. I made it a point from that time on, to listen to and own every album and song they made. This solo album from Barry, the sole remaining brother, doesn't disappoint. His music and lyrics sound as relevant as they did 40 yrs ago. He may have lost his brothers, but he hasn't lost his touch. Thank you Barry for continuing to bring the joy of your music into my life even now that I'm in my fifties!

Give the album a few takes and then decide. Unlike typical Bee Gees, this album has an "edge" to it. Cross To Bear definatey has a special gloss. I could have wanted more multi-part harmony, but tbis definately is not Bee Gees. And, yes, every song has something special about it. Love the new sound.

This is a good effort. Favorites: Home True Song, In The Now, and Star Crossed Lovers. Keep em comin Barry.

Home Truth Song is a good rocker in a Springsteenesque sort of way. I liked it and was hoping the rest of the CD would reflect that flavor. A mature change of direction. To my disappointment the rest of the songs sound like Bee Gees B sides, albeit in a lower key. Not that it is aweful, but that time has passed.

I listened to every song before I read any other reviews so I wouldn't be influenced. Wouldn't have mattered. Love Always!

Love this album! Barry has outdone himself. This is a real achievement. Love every track. "In the now" and The long goodbye are my 2 faves.

FINALLY!............great music to buy again. Every song is a 10. Give Barry the Grammy !
