Been a fan of Bobby Caldwell since WYWDFL and once again, he hits it out of the park. This CD is a must have, each cut as good as the last. There is classic R&B throughout, Latin influences in Dance With Me and a bit of country on Hearts On Fire. My favorite, and its hard to chose just one, is It's All Coming Back To Me Now as I'm partial to smooth jazz and piano. Bobby Caldwell proves again, that he is not only a first rate singer and performer, but also a top notch songwriter and musician. Give it a listen, you'll love it.

Bobby Caldwell never ceases to amaze me. Now recording in his 5th decade, Bobby is now back with "House Of Cards," his 12th studio recording. For those who covet the R&B side of Bobby then you will be very pleased. "HOC" contains that classic formula, especially on the cuts like "Game On, One Of Those Nights" and the new single "What About Me." That particular cut has a very smooth groove to it...think late 70's Maurice White & EWF. Of course it wouldn't be a fantastic Caldwell CD without a few ballads and they are indeed here. "Blue," which features sax work from Dave Koz is right up there as one of his best compositions and should be a concert favorite. "It's All Coming Back To Me Now," co-written with long time band member Mark McMillan is also a very strong cut and it will please those fans of Bobby who favor the crooner side of BC. As his loyal fans already know Bobby is one of the best vocalists that the biz has ever seen. Such a talent and though many years have passed since we first heard him back in 78-79 he only gets better. "HOC" is valid proof of that. Glad to have you back Bobby! Brian Pearson Inside MusiCast
