Best song is Scumfrog's EDIT of Heartbeat. Guaranteed to make you want to get up and dance. This track keeps my head nodding.

(NOTE: This is a review only of the Scumfrog mixes, not the "Me Plus One" songs or the MSTRKRFT remix of "Heartbeat".) I've heard other Scumfrog remixes in the past of songs such as Britney Spears' "Everytime" and Dido's "White Flag". I really did not like the remixes at all, so I somewhat lost hope in The Scumfrog's remixes. But then I bought ThriveMix01 (a REALLY GOOD dance compilation which isn't on iTunes but buy it somewhere else!!) and heard this song on it. The music - particularly the beat and bass combo - is really catchy and likeable, and it proves to be the best aspect to the song. The lyrics are somewhat unoriginal and done before and the vocals are decent, but the music is great. If an instrumental version was released I would definitely buy it. But the vocals really are not a problem for me and the song still remains enjoyable with them. I haven't heard the original version of "Heartbeat" so I cannot compare it to the remix, unfortunately, but from the iTunes preview I can safely say that the Scumfrog remix blows it out of the water. So, I totally suggest that you buy the longer remix (track 1), as you'll hear more and more of the music. If you like dance music with cheesy lyrics but likeable vocals, then you've come to the right place.

Annie is my absolute favorite- I was thilled when I saw this album on iTunes. It's very hard to not get up and dance to these remixes- as it is with the originals. The best track in my opinion would be the Me Plus One Rapture Remix. Definatley worth every cent!

I've never been a fan of the remixes Scumfrog has done. I just didn't like them. But now, with this remix of Heartbeat, I can't stop listening to it! Scumfrog totally changed the sound of the song and made it a surefire club hit. I also like the Rapture remix of Me Plus One. Annie is such a cool new artist and deserves more radioplay in the U.S.

This sounds like an x-porn star trying to change careers by making dance music thats was not even ground breaking 20 years ago.

I just listened and found this new link to this new remixes of Heartbeat and Me Plus One and I think the ones that are sweet....are Me Plus One (Rapture Remix) and Heartbeat (MSTRKRFT Remix) and you should buy these...I'm a die-hard dance music fan...and if you are...then this is for you and the album is also a must-buy.

I love techno and dance music, so when i heard these remixes they were so awesome, i LOVE annie! Her music is the best :D
