Kind of artsy fartsy for me, but I love the last great american whale. He did it back on SNL, I can apperciate the whole Nwe York vibe, but a little progressive for my taste

I bought this album on cassette when it came out. It made me, a goofy teen on the other side of the country, feel like I knew what it was to be a New Yorker.

He is (was) the lower east side. Filled with grit and steel. Gone way to early. Listen to dirty Blvd; "Give me ur tired, ur poor, ur huddled masses, I'll club em to death, that's what the statue of bigotry says." I'm very grateful for this work of art.

Poetic, gritty, priceless! This is a great album. The 'Haves' in this country should listen carefully coz Something's Happening here. The rest of us can sit back listen and enjoy great music. Take a nice walk down memory lane... The 80's were wild.
