Lights is one of the few artists that honestly improves with every release. The Listening was a beautiful album, and a great start to her career, but every album after has just been better than the last; this is no different. It has a really nice warm feel to it, and the sound is something new for Lights. That shouldn't be a surprise though, with Siberia sounding completely different than The Listening. Hopefully she continues to mix it up as her career goes on; for now though, this is perfect.

I've been a fan of Lights for years and she never disappoints; she's one of those rare artists where every song is excellent. Little Machines is just as fantastic as her other albums and she still manages to add something new to her sound with every record.

I’ve always enjoyed Lights… but this album caught my attention instantly from the first song to the last. I feel like she’s got a lot more power behind her vocals this time. This music makes me feel like I’m 21 again running around on summer nights with my friends. It’s kind of bittersweet. Anyway, I’m in love.
