Nora Germain is one of jazz’s upcoming stars, with a bright future! Her heart and soul comes out in her songs. ”How About You” is a wonderful original that will certainly be a standard in generations to come! Her vocals on the vocal version, and the melody and tasteful bop improvisation on the instrumental version are absolutely wonderful! Also her rendition of ”A Flower Is A Lovesome Thing” and ”Someone To Watch Over Me” is extremely pleasing to the ears as well! If you want to hear something that you have never heard, listen to ”Tommy”, an original song on fiddle! The list goes on and on, just go get the whole album and listen for yourself! It’s AMAZING!

This album is solid. The songs are beautiful. The vocals are fun and sassy. Oh, and JAZZ VIOLIN! This is definitely worth picking up and listening more than once.

I’ve had the pleasure of seeing, hearing, and filming Nora’s performances and it is unlike anything I have ever experienced. Her album is unquestionably up to par with her stage performances and well worth the price. Buy it!! :)

This record rocks!! Nora did a fantastic job bringing violin back into the jazz scene. From her Gershwin rendition of “Someone to Watch Over Me,” to the original fiddle tune “Tommy,” this record is full of beautiful tunes! Oh and her voice on “How About You” is just lovely! Fantastic job, Nora!
