So many good jams on this album but 24 hours is an epic amongst the greatest live recordings i've ever heard.

The Marshall Tucker Band is absolutely my favorite band, all time. I've been a southern rock fan all my adult life, and I still enjoy the Allmans, Outlaws, Skynyrd, Elvin Bishop, Wet Willie, Molly Hatchet, to name a few, but these guys have always been my go-to band. This is one of their finest. I consider "24 Hours At a Time" my all-time favorite live song. The rest is just great music. I bought this LP when it was released in '74 and "This Ol' Cowboy" was a regular on FM radio. It just never grows old. All time greats. Under-appreciated band. One of the best.

I wholeheartedly, 100% agree with "Bbopsw" that The Marshall Tucker Band are/were, especially the original line-up- not fully recognized for the awesome music and total talent they had and played. A total inspiration for any future guitarist, drummer, flute player even! Great musicians, great songwriters. I saw them around '82-'84 - in that range, at Valley Forge Music Center, in the round. Just them. Great, great show. Thank you, MTB. Doug.

This band has never recieved the wide scale attention and acclaim that is due. Time will find MTB once again when people with actual taste in music are back in vogue. A superb album from beginning to end. Southern rock masterpiece.
