A Modern R&B Track I Actually LIKE!

Leave it to Debs here, and producers Tony Moran & Warren Rigg, to create an R&B track I actually LIKE. The lyrics are extremely well written, and Deb's vocals are hauntingly stirring & deliciously SEXY, as is Moran & Rigg's chunky & slightly grimy R&B Instrumental. I LOVE this song in its original form here, and the dance mixes too. And Debs looks HOT here, and hotter here than on the cover of the dance remix single.

Deborah Cox is an R&B artist. Lots of critics say, that her songs are remixed beyond recognition. That's only because quite a few of those people don't really have a taste for remixes or maybe the Dance and Electronica genre of music. Of course, Deb makes quite a bit of money on those tracks, regardless of what some people say, Deb's account gets money, when those electronic mixed songs are played. Lots of singers do it, and if you want to make a bit of extra money, DJs remix yourself, and oh yeah, hey that means that you get heard in different places, e.g. clubs, Oh and I guess it's horrible for the people in those clubs filled with your mixed beyond recognition track to want to buy your music. Yeah ... what a silly concept!!
I have to agree.

Love Deborah, Love the song, but she needs something she can sink her vocal teeth into.

The girl has vocals yes. There hasn't been any growth in her songs or vocals though in the last 10 years. It's one of the big reasons why her songs have not done great in R&B lately.
The song will of course be will remixed beyond recognition and it will be a club hit. As an R&B song it's just bland.
Finally, she's back!

Deborah Cox has to be the strongest voice in popular music. I love the new single, with its thumping beats complimented by Deborah's powerful lyrics. Here's hoping the new album isn't too far behind.
