I heard a brief interview this morning on NPR with Suzy and was struck by her well-spoken, thoughtful responses to the interviewers questions. I recalled having known her briefly when I taught her son, years ago and I sort of impulsively purchased this album. I have always said that I am not a hard-core country fan, though I'm a born and raised Nashvillian, but maybe I can't say that anymore after hearing this record. Wow. Just wow.

I have a good number of Suzy's CD's and have been a big fan for many years but unfortunately in the last few years her music has not been the same. I love here voice. I wish she would make more music like she had in the past such as "Aces" and "Outbound plane" and "You never will" which is a heartbreakingly beautiful ballad and she signs it with so much emotion. Fingers crossed :-)

In an era of over produced, pop music with a twang, being marketed as country, this release by arguably one of Nashville's most pleasant singers is a breath of fresh country air. This is a master class in the basics. Many new artists would do well to pay attention. This is quality!

Recently I saw Suzy on Larry’s Country Diner and couldn’t wait for this album to come out. Well worth the wait, she has made Merle very proud I’m sure! This is country music at it’s best, you won’t be disappointed. Well done!
