Carry Me

I own six albums and they never get boring. This is one of my favorites. In every hard time I can turn on Josh Wilson's music and feal better immedietly. He helped to inspire me to write my own songs and poems.

Fell in love with his work because of this album! Unlike some other Christian artists I can actually understand what he's singing and I don't have to turn it down because of all the excess noise!! Thanks so much!!

The song 🎵 Pushing back the dark inspired me because it told me whatever you are doing do not look back and keep on fighting your sin and do not let temptation win. Buy this album or song/ songs because the words might inspire you and they have some great good tunes by a talented Christian performing artist Josh Wilson. I know I am not perfect and I sin a lot and I need to work on my relationship with God and others in a positive way and keep fighting the flesh. 🎤🎧🎵🎼❤it!!!

I'd forgotten about this album after it was released, and then I heard Pushing Back the Dark. Wow! I reviewed all the tracks and I knew I had to have the whole album by the time I'd gotten through half the songs. (It's a good bargain at 9.99 for 12 songs.) I can't believe this hasn't gotten more publicity on Christian radio, or more reviews here. The quality of musicianship, the honesty of the lyrics (and how they reflect the real life day-to-day challenges of being a Christian...), all make this deserving of MUCH MORE publicity. Sparrow, do some work to get some more buzz about this! I'm very struck by similarities in this album with Steven Curtis Chapman's 2013 Glorious Unfolding. There are also some Andrew Peterson influences. Chapman, Wilson and Peterson were all on tour together, and I think each brough out even greater excellence in one another's music. Anyway, give this a try. It's uplifting and focuses on the Lord's grace and hope in spite of our failures, weaknesses and doubts. I for one need the message of these songs this month.

I love my bro's music Josh your awesome

I started loving this powerful tenor voice two albums ago but when I played "I Refuse" at church on bass a few months ago is when I began taking notice of this great Artist's passion of vocal ability. He's a great singer with a smooth voice with great songs that grab you in and then with God's message all wrapped up together makes it hard to resist this album. Definitely a great album and now it makes me extremely curious about his previous works as an Artist. I would suggest this album as it has a great selection if music with great lyrics. Great job Josh!
