In the 70's and the 80's I never paid much attention to Billy Idol. I am sorry I didn't. I spent many hours in my room recording songs off the radio but somehow missed Billy Idol's talent . The whole group is fantastic, especially the lead guitarist. Top shelf stuff.

Over the years, I ended up slowly forgetting how rich and original 80's alternative / punk was compared to all other eras of music; how shallow the music of today is compared to back then.. So take an 80s icon like billy idol, give his band an acoustic guitar, play his hit songs with it.. And it just raises the bar on how awesome and timeless his music really is.. I Agree with others on how fresh this variant of his great songs sound.. I have to thank Howard Stern for putting Billy Idol on his show a week ago and giving me a chance to rediscover Idols music all over again! So it's 130am and I can't stop listening to it!!

This album really takes the old hits and gives you a new look at them all. Really enjoyable. I was not a huge fan of Billy the first go around, but this really gave me a new perspective and I love it.

This album puts fresh paint on some good old Billy Idol tracks, and showcases guitarist Steve Stevens' impressive electric and acoustic talents (e.g., "Got to Be a Lover"). I had not purchased a Billy Idol song or album until I heard Storytellers. Enough said. Enjoy.
